Bad behavior in the snow could cost you in Klamath County

Klamath Falls, Ore. — The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office wants you to know they’re taking complaints by citizens about bad behavior in the snow very seriously.

The sheriff’s office said they’ve received complaints about traffic hazards created by people shoveling and plowing snow into public roadways and sidewalks. They’ve also hear about people parking in the roadway.

Deputies want to keep the public ways clear of all hazards, so they issued a stern warning:

“Persons plowing snow or other debris into the roadway or parking in the public roadway can be charged criminally for disorderly conduct in the second degree.”

So it might be a good idea to be mindful of what you do with all that excess snow.
