Ashland, Ore.– Dozens of people met in the Ashland Plaza Saturday afternoon showing their support for democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.
About 125 local supporters joined together to rally for Bernie. They organized a flash mob and sang songs praising his prison reform, health, and alternative energy plans.
“The undercurrent is rising so people are just starting to feel the energy of the Bernie Sanders campaign,” organizer John Anastasio said.
Organizers of the rally say they hope to hold more gatherings and democratic debate watch parties in the future.
