Medford, Ore. — The Britt Music & Arts Festival is receiving $40,000 from the Oregon Community Foundation. The grant will help fund the festival’s orchestra performance next month with an amazing view of Crater Lake as the backdrop.

OCF says funding these types of projects are essential in promoting the arts.

“The arts spark imagination, it gives people ideas, it just makes you think in a different way and so it’s important on all those levels, it brings communities together as well.”

The performances can be seen at Crater Lake July 29th and 30th.
