MIAMI, Fla. (WTVJ) – A powerful earthquake shook buildings in Miami Tuesday, forcing multiple evacuations.
The magnitude 7.7 earthquake was reported between Cuba and Jamaica about 72 miles northwest of Lucea, Jamaica.
Miami-Dade police reported receiving phone calls of buildings shaking.
The Miami-Dade government center was also evacuated as a precaution.
So far, there are no reports of damage.
