Burns man cited for possession of trophy deer skulls

HarnDeer Skullsey County, Ore. — A Burns man has been cited with multiple wildlife charges by Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Troopers. OSP received an anonymous complaint regarding a person in possession of multiple trophy mule deer.

After contacting 19-year-old Jaden Simpson, police seized four mule deer skulls found in his possession. He was criminally cited for four counts of Illegal Possession of Game Parts. Additional wildlife charges are being forwarded to the Harney County District Attorney’s Office for consideration.
