Lower Lake, Calif. (KCRA) — Mandatory evacuations for Lower Lake, California residents were lifted Friday as firefighters continue to make progress against the destructive “Clayton” wildfire.
The fire has destroyed at least 300 structures, including 190 homes.
He and his wife Katie are among hundreds of homeowners sifting through the ashes.
“Devastation,” Dean said while surveying his neighborhood. “There’s only one place there, and one place there left. Everybody else is burnt, gone. Everybody else is gone.”
