Camp Fire sees response from Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – Some local first responders have the most difficult job of searching through the rubble in search of missing people in the wake of the Camp Fire.

Search and rescue teams from all over have poured into Butte County, where hundreds of people are still unaccounted for.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has sent its search and rescue coordinator as well as five SAR volunteers.

As of 3:30 p.m. on November 13, the Camp Fire covered 125,000 acres and was 30% contained.
