Canadian immigration site crashes amid election results

1108-canadian-immigration-websiteOttawa, Canada. (CNN) — The Canadian government’s immigration website crashed Tuesday night. And experts believe the U.S. Election played a major role.

Online searches regarding moving to Canada and becoming a Canadian citizen grew in recent months–particularly after Donald Trump won the Republican presidential nomination.
