City of Gold Hill issues new boil notice

1019-boil-noticeGold Hill, Ore. – The City of Gold Hill said drinking water service has been interrupted for some users from 2nd Avenue to Riverside Avenue, between Tiffany Lane and Chavner Street.

The city is advising residents not to consume public drinking water. A 72-hour boil notice has been issued as a precaution. There has reportedly been no contamination between sewage lines and the water lines.

According to the city, testing will be conducted once service is restored to make sure there is no bacterial contamination.
