Clinton gains ground

NC_campaignam0816_1500x845Scranton, Penn. (NBC News) — After rallying with Joe Biden in Scranton yesterday, Hillary Clinton is back in battleground Pennsylvania Tuesday to sign up new voters.

She has an 11 point lead there, but Donald Trump is gaining among white, uneducated voters.

In Scranton, Clinton mocked Trump’s national security plan.

“Sometimes he says he won’t tell anyone what he will do because he wants to keep his plan to be “secret,” and then it turns out the secret is he has no plan,” Clinton said.

Trump is now pushing what he calls “extreme vetting” on people entering the country after detailing his plan to stop immigration from countries where terrorists operate.

“We must also screen out any who have hostile attitudes toward our country or its principles,” Trump said.
