Construction at the Armory won’t stop Providence Festival of Trees

mj-festival-of-treesMedford, Ore — Construction continues on improvements to the Medford Armory and despite the sound of hammers and machinery some events are still on.

The Armory will host the 25th annual providence Festival of Trees.

Ongoing construction at the Armory caused some annual events to relocate, like the 39th Annual Rogue Valley Railroad Show, usually hosted the weekend after Thanksgiving.

“At the end of the show last year we heard that the Armory was going to do repairs and so on so Bruce Mcgarvey contacted the Armory and said they couldn’t guarantee it would be ready for us,” said Tony Johnson of the Rogue Valley Steamers.

The Rogue Valley Railroad Show will be this Saturday and Sunday at the Jackson County Expo. For more information about the show, you can call Bill at 541-821-5547 or Bruce at 541-890-8145.

The Festival of Trees will be Friday December 2nd to Sunday December 4th at the Armory. For more information, you can visit the Festival of Trees website.
