Josephine County, Ore. — Josephine County is trying to decide whether or not to declare a flu emergency. If that happens, it means some emergency responders may change their protocols to reduce their employees’ exposure to the virus.
While flu cases are increasing across the country, Rural Metro Fire said, lately, it’s responding to fewer flu related emergency calls than earlier this winter.
