Craigslist sale gone wrong

Medford, Ore., —  It was a Craigslist sale gone wrong last night, after police say a man trying to sell his car was robbed at gunpoint.

Medford Police say 21-year-old Jorge Serna responded to a Craigslist ad for the car.

Serna met the owner on the 2000 block of Howard Avenue.

He expressed interest in the car, but wanted it checked out by a mechanic first.

Police say he and the owner then drove to the 3000 block of Edgewater Drive.

When the car was parked, police say Serna brought out a gun and told the owner to get out of the car, and drove away.

The owner immediately called 911.

Medford Police found the stolen car and Serna 20 minutes later driving on I-5 south near the Phoenix interchange.

Serna is currently in Jackson County Jail charged with theft, robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He has a $100,000 dollar bail.
