CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Prolific Crater High senior Tyrone Gorze set a record in a 5k this weekend.
On Saturday, Gorze claimed a prestigious victory at the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional Championship.
Last week he won his second consecutive Class 5A state cross-country title.
He finished Saturday’s 5k in 14 minutes and 51.6 seconds.
