Crews respond to small vegetation fire in Yreka

Yreka, Calif. – Several agencies responded to the scene of a vegetation fire in south Yreka.

It started late Monday afternoon not far from the South Yreka Fire Station.

According to CAL FIRE, flames scorched between one and two acres.

Around 5:45 p.m., crews were walking the fire lines to get an accurate measurement.

The fire is no longer spreading.

CAL FIRE, Klamath National Forest Workers and Siskiyou County all responded.
