Siskiyou County, Calif. – A fire burning near Highway 96 northwest of Yreka is 60% contained as of Wednesday morning.
Officials said the Klamath Fire is 100% lined and has burned around 50 acres in the area of Highway 96 and Dutch Creek Road, east of Oak Knoll.
CAL FIRE and U.S. Forest Service crews are using the area around Tree of Heaven campground for staging.
Firefighters said they’ve completely lined the area around the fire.
