Curry County, Ore. – A warning was posted on Facebook from the Curry County Sheriff.
He’s discouraging people from searching for missing hunter, Shawn Higgins.
Higgins disappeared nearly two weeks ago off Bear Camp Road in rural Curry County.
The sheriff says his department is still looking for Higgins– when the weather is cooperative.
He says anyone who goes out to search on their own is jeopardizing the official search and putting themselves at risk.
