Crater of Diamonds State Park, Ark. (CNN) — Dan and Lauren Frederick were at Crater of Diamonds State Park for less than an hour when they spotted a two-carat diamond on the ground.
The state park in Arkansas is the only diamond-producing site in the world where anyone can come look for the gems — and keep whatever they find.
The father and daughter nicknamed their find “Lucky Diamond.”
No word yet on how much the stone might be worth — but it’s a safe bet it’s worth much more than the $16 the Fredericks spent on admission.
