Decision 2020: dueling town halls

(NBC News)  President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee return to the campaign trail Friday after reaching out to the American people Thursday evening in dueling televised town halls.

During his appearance on NBC, President Trump stated that he will accept a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election, with the caveat “But I want it to be an honest election.”

Vice President Biden, on ABC, slammed the president’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s a President’s responsibility to lead, and he didn’t do that,” Biden said.

Both men are set to appear on the same stage next week for a final debate in Nashville.
