SHADY COVE, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a fee box at Takelma Park has been vandalized multiple times.
A man was caught on cell-phone video attempting to break into the box Monday.
Last night, deputies say someone tried to rip the entire box from the concrete.
The sheriff’s office says the thieves won’t get away with much since the box is emptied daily, but the vandalism is causing thousands in damage.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
