Grants Pass, Ore., — The month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and women in Josephine County are doing their part to make it known.
The Women’s Crisis Support Team has planned multiple events around Grants Pass to bring awareness to the community, and to help prevent and promote safe healthy homes and relationships.
This week they will putting up purple flags on all the light posts in downtown Grants Pass.
List of events:
October 5th, 9 am/5 pm – DV Awareness Month Proclomation from County Commissioners.
October 7th, 6:30 pm – Walk of Solidarity starting at the Courthouse steps.
October 15th, 9am – Clothing Fair at Bear Hotel. All proceeds support WCST
