Double fatal crash investigation in Merlin area of Josephine Co.

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. —Firefighters say two people are dead after a head-on collision between two vehicles. That’s according to Rural Metro Fire.

The agency confirmed the double fatal crash happened around 4:15 Friday afternoon on the 7500 block of Monument Drive.

Rural Metro Fire is asking people to use alternative routes, via I-5 or Pleasant Valley Road, through Merlin.
