Driver killed in Josephine County crash

KERBY, Ore. – One person was killed in a Josephine County crash.

Oregon State Police said at about 6:50 p.m. on April 12, a Dodge Durango driven by 60-year-old Billy Thornhill entered Highway 199 from a driveway near Kerby when the vehicle was hit by a dump truck towing a trailer that was unable to stop in time.

Thornhill died from his injuries.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

No further information was provided by OSP.
