Eagles rescued by OSP trooper released into the wild

Gold Beach, Ore. — Two bald eagles found in a ravine in Gold Beach earlier this month are back in the wild.

Grants Pass based animal rehabilitation facility Wildlife Images released them Friday morning.

An Oregon State Police Trooper rescued the eagles after finding them injured in the ditch.

The eagles were probably hurt while fighting over food or territory.

Both made a full recovery.
