Election Day is here

nc_campaignam_1500x845(NBC News) — Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have made their final arguments. Today, voters have the final say.

Hillary Clinton is back home in New York this morning after winning the first contest of the day.

Tiny Dixville Notch, New Hampshire – with only a handful of voters – reported four for Clinton, two for Donald Trump just after midnight. “Tomorrow night this election will end but I want you to understand that our work together will be just beginning,” said Hillary Clinton.

Clinton wrapped her campaign in North Carolina – with celebrities there and with the Obamas in Philadelphia. “Let’s show tomorrow there will be no question about the outcome of this election,” said Clinton.

“I am betting that tomorrow, you will reject fear and you’ll choose hope,” declared President Barack Obama.

Trump and Mike Pence ended their campaign with an early-morning rally in Michigan. “It is November the 8th. The day we make America great again,” said Mike Pence, (R) Vice Presidential Nominee.

Trump is going after this blue state. Michigan hasn’t voted Republican since 1988. “Michigan now stands at the crossroads of history. If we win Michigan we will win this historic election,” declared Trump.

He’s also hoping for a win in New Hampshire where polls are nearly deadlocked. “New Hampshire has never disappointed me,” said Trump.

Disappointment is sure to come for one of these candidates today.
