Ashland, Ore., — Families enjoyed fun in the sun at Emigrant Lake today, as the park’s two water slides opened for the 2016 season.
People of all ages were out today, racing down the 280 foot twin flume water slides for the opening day.
From today until Labor Day in September, the slides are open daily from 12 to 6 pm.
“Me and him had fun racing each other to see who would win first. I thought it was really fun, he thought it was really fun.” said Connor Jackson.
The Aloha Grill next to the slides also opened today to serve food and drinks.
