False alarm at Rogue Credit Union’s south Medford branch

MEDFORD, Ore. – Police responded to a false alarm Wednesday near Rogue Credit Union’s Medford headquarters.

Employees of the North Center Drive location called in the threat after thinking they’d found a bomb disguised as a fire extinguisher.

According to Medford police, it was “just a fire extinguisher.”

Police had the area cleared shortly after lunchtime.
