Fire crews were called to the 800 block of Mendolia Way, just before 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters say that when they arrived on scene, flames were shooting out of the garage doors.
“While we were en route, we could see a header of smoke off in the distance, when we arrived here, our first in engine company, had fire boiling out all three of the garage doors behind me.”
The family was able to get out safely, and no injuries were reported. Nearby houses didn’t suffer any damage. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
