DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. – One person was killed in a helicopter crash south of Roseburg.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 2:13 p.m. Thursday, they were told about a small aircraft that crashed in the 2300 block of Glengary Loop Road.
Deputies and firefighters arrived at the scene to find a burning helicopter. At least one person died in the crash, DCSO said.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information was released by the sheriff’s office.
