Eagle Point, Ore. — A motorcycle accident at mile post 11 on Butte Falls Highway left one woman dead Tuesday night.
Police said a woman in her thirties was riding her motorcycle on the highway just past 7:00 p.m. when she crashed. No other cars or people were involved in the crash. The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
The woman’s name is not being released until the next of kin is notified.
The road was closed for about an hour before opening back up.
