Federal judge blocks enforcement of President Trump’s revised travel order

Honolulu, Hawaii – A federal judge in Hawaii has temporarily blocked the enforcement of President Trump’s re-worked executive order that restricts visas for 90 days for nationals from Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria and Libya.

The ruling came down just hours before the executive order was scheduled to take effect.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson said the ruling applies nationwide.

The Trump administration argued the revised order avoids the legal problems that stopped the enforcement of the original.
