Firefighters, civilians injured in Portland explosion


Portland, Ore. (KGW) — Three firefighters and two civilians were injured in a four-alarm fire after an explosion on Wednesday morning near Northwest 23rd and Glisan Street in Portland.

Portland Fire & Rescue reported that there were no fatalities. The condition of the five people injured is unknown at this time.

At least 60 fire and police crews are on scene where the explosion happened.

The entire area is blocked off and the public is being cautioned to avoid the area.
