“Flower it Forward” at Del Rio Vineyards

Gold Hill, Ore. – Del Rio Vineyards is encouraging southern Oregonians to spread joy and kindness throughout the Rogue Valley with their new “Flower it Forward” movement.

The vineyard said they’re providing a free you-pick flower garden with one rule: for every bouquet you pick, you need to pick one for someone in a care facility or simply a friend in need.

Owner Jolee Wallace said, “I was inspired last year when I saw a farmer in Yolo, California named Mark Mezger who had planted various zinnia flowers in one of his fields for people to give to others. I got so excited when I saw his flower field that I wanted to do this here in Oregon.”

People are encouraged to bring their own vases, clippers and buckets. Vase donations are happily accepted.

You can read more about “Flower if Forward”, or share your experience, on the Del Rio Vinyard website.
