Three Rogue Valley residents arrested in connection with alleged attempted murder

1116-yreka-suspectsYreka, Calif. – A Medford man was arrested in Yreka for attempted murder, along with two other Rogue Valley residents and a California woman who are charged with conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Yreka Police Department.

Police said at around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16th, officers received a report of a masked man wearing camouflage and carrying a rifle behind the Black Bear Diner. The man was said to have been walking from an area around the Yreka Starbucks.

YPD said Mount Shasta Police officers, who happened to be getting some coffee, arrested the suspect without incident.

Yreka Police said a total of four people were arrested in connection with the incident:

  • 32-year-old William Moore from Medford was arrested for attempted murder.
  • 39-year-old Breana L. Franklin A.K.A. Annette Colman from Granite Bay, California was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.
  • 26-year-old Tera Clinger from Medford was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.
  • 39-year-old Harley Fredericks from Gold Hill was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.

According to YPD, the incident appears to have originated from a contact that occurred in Southern Oregon the night before. More charges are expected to be filed against the suspects.

Officers said there were no injuries in the incident, which is still under investigation. Further details have not yet been released, but Yreka Police told NBC5 News officers are currently gathering information for a press release.
