Medford, Ore., — The holiday’s are upon us and the folks at
Saint Vincent De Paul kicked off the season of giving today with their annual free turkey dinner in Medford.
The 13th annual dinner provides a full meal, and sometimes even second helpings, for those in need.
Hundreds of people from around the Rogue Valley came out not only to eat, but to help serve and volunteer.
“I think by the smiles you see and the give and take between among the people, yeah they’re happy. And we’re happy to do it.” said Pastor Terry Graunke.
Graunke says it’s amazing to see how much the event has grown over the years and always looks forward to helping out.
