Banks, Ore. – A teenage girl who went missing from her campsite at Gales Creek Campground early Monday morning has been found.
NBC affiliate KGW reports 13-year-old Aloha resident Emma Beggs was camping with her family when she went out for a trail run at 6:00 a.m. Monday and did not return.
An initial search of the area around the campground, approximately 40 miles east of Portland, failed to locate Beggs.
Just after 9:00 Tuesday morning, a logger found Beggs and drove her back to meet with her family.
