GP Police find missing girl

0309 missing gp girlUpdate (03/09 5:10pm) — In a press release, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said that Amilia Wren was reported missing after she left school without getting on the bus. Police began searching the area. An alert citizen reported a possible sighting of her on SE M Street. Several minutes later, Amilia was located by an officer. She was unharmed.

Police say Amilia left school voluntarily and the matter is non-criminal in nature.

Update (03/09 4:23pm) — Police say that thanks to a tip from the public, Amilia Wren has been found safe.

Grants Pass, Ore. — The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety says that officers are searching for 11-year-old Amilia Wren. She was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, white scarf, and blue jeans. She also had a purple and grey backpack. Officers say that Amilia is around 4’8″, 90lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
