Grants Pass hit and run victim in critical condition

Grants Pass, Ore.- A man who was found unconscious in the roadway at the junction of Demaray Dr. and Redwood Hwy. remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital.

30-year-old Luke LeClere was found just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night. A detective responded to the area after several calls reporting the incident. Based on the investigation, Grants Pass Department of Public Safety believes LeClere was hit by a vehicle, which then left the scene of the crash without calling 911.

Detectives are hoping to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have information pertaining to the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Jenista at 541-450-6260.
