Grants Pass student arrested for online threat

Grants Pass, Ore. – A Grants Pass High School student was arrested after he allegedly made a threat to other students via social media, according to the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety.

Police said on Wednesday, December 7, police and officials with School District 7 received information about the threat. After a thorough investigation, a 14-year-old male student was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. It was determined there was no risk to the school or public.

GPDPS said the student was turned over to the Juvenile Department and lodged out of the county.
