Shady Cove, Ore., — The community in Shady Cove is getting into the holiday spirit this weekend.
Folks came out to a holiday bazaar at the Upper Rogue Community Center today.
It’s a fundraiser for numerous community assets, including the fire department, and the student’s after school program.
“Our community’s program is about bringing the community together, and this is one of the ways that we do it. We’ll be selling lunch, get people out of their homes and bring them together.” said community board member, Dawn Edwards.
People were able to sell their homemade products at the event today.
All the proceeds go back into the community to fund future events.
