Holiday spirit spreads across the Rogue Valley

Holiday spirit is spreading across the Rogue Valley.

Santa Claus visited downtown Grants Pass tonight for the annual tree lighting.

One resident says she has lived in Grants Pass her entire life.

But this year is extra special as she joined the event with her 1-year-old baby boy who was born on December 23rd of last year.

“We are just exploring downtown. We’ve checked out the local shops which are all decorated beautifully and we’re just checking things out,” Hannah Reedy said.

In Medford, Santa will make a stop tomorrow at Pear Blossom Park.

The Winter Lights Festival starts at 4:30 with santa arriving at 5:40.

The Christmas Tree will be lit a short time later.
