House fire breaks out in South Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. —A house fire broke out this afternoon in southwest Medford.

Medford Fire says it happened on the 2500-block of South Stage Road, near Griffin Creek Road.

The residents were able to escape safely.

Crews say they were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
