Ashland, Ore., — And for everyone who still needed gear, an annual ski swap in Ashland benefiting the Southern Oregon University Outdoor Program is happening this weekend.
People from all over the Rogue Valley were able to sell their old outdoor gear and get some new equipment, all for a great price, and cause.
The best part, the event offers gear for all four seasons!
“There’s a misconception sometimes where outdoor equipment can be really expensive, and that actually limits people from getting outside. So this a great opportunity to expose people to an activity they might not be able to do otherwise.” said organizer Will Volpert.
The swap continues tomorrow in the Stevenson Union at Southern Oregon University from 9 am to 4 pm.
Organizers say there will be some great deals on everything that’s left.
