Jackson County Sheriff’s Office audit

jackson county soMedford, Ore., — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office released the results of a new audit today.

The agency used the “Police Foundation” as an unbiased source to complete the audit of their patrol, investigations and traffic units.

Sheriff Corey Falls says the audit’s one of many ways he’s looking to improve the entire organization.

“A lot of these changes and implementations aren’t going to happen this year, or overnight, but it gives us a road map and a strategy of how we’re going to plan over the next 3 to 5 years.”

Sheriff Falls says he will welcome potential criticism and negative responses from the public, because it means people are interested and care about what they are doing.
