Grants Pass, Ore.–Parents and kids are invited to a night of comedy and information as Grants Pass High School hosts a drug and substance prevention presentation tonight.

Comedian and public speaker Ray Lozano has traveled the country for over 20 years sharing knowledge about how drugs and alcohol can effect teenager’s growing brains.  Lozano grew up witnessing extreme alcohol and drug abuse in his family and vowed to make a difference.

“I thought to myself I want to go out and help other kids have to avoid this or help them understand why they are going through this,” says Lozano.  “So when you get them laughing it kind of drops that guard down a little bit.”

Parents are encouraged to attend with their children as a variety of topics are explored.

You can hear Ray’s story Monday, September 19th at Grants Pass High School in the Performing Arts building at 7pm and Tuesday, September 20th tonight at 6 o’clock at Hidden Valley High School for a presentation and dinner.

Both events are free and everyone is welcome.  For more information visit http://raylozano.com/
