K9 helps find fleeing suspect

michael-allen-naylorTalent, Ore. – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called Thursday morning to assist the Talent Police Department with a vehicle pursuit on Payne Road.

Deputies said the driver of the vehicle eventually crashed the car, injuring three passengers. The driver then fled on foot.0915-remco

JSCO said K9 “Remco” and his handler found the driver, identified as 51-year-old Michael Allen Naylor, hiding in tall grass nearby.

Naylor was lodged at the Jackson County Jail on numerous charges, including attempting to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of methamphetamine, and criminal mischief.
