SALEM, Ore. – Democrat Kate Brown won the race for governor and will serve her first full term since winning a special election in 2016.
Republican State Representative Knute Buehler failed to rally enough voters to his side, paving the way for Brown’s victory.
Gov. Brown took over after Democratic Governor John Kitzhaber resigned in 2015. She served as Secretary of State prior to that.
