Klamath Falls man arrested, police seize meth, handgun

1012-jose-suarez-arredondoKlamath Falls, Ore. — Bail has been set at half-a-million dollars for a Klamath Falls man facing drug charges.

Jose Suarez-Arredondo was arrested Tuesday by members of the Basin Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team.

Police say they found more than two-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine during a raid on a home and storage unit.

Officers also seized a handgun, and materials related to drug sales. Police say the drugs have a street value of over $12,000.

According to police, Suarez Arredondo was charged with possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and manufacturing a controlled substance.
