Central Point, Ore., — Hanley Farm in Central Point is taking you back in time this weekend with their “Living History Days”.
The Cascade Civil War Society re-enactors will be dressed up at the farm as civil war characters who can give you quick history lessons.
You can also dress up and take vintage pictures, shoot a cannon, or tour their civil war-era barn.
“As you visit them, they can tell you about that person and the kinds of things they did in the civil war, so there will be some cavalry and some artillery and I think there’s a surgeons tent.” said coordinator, Alice Mullaly.
The event is taking place Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.
Tickets are $8 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for kids or Southern Oregon Historical Society Members.
