Local aviation community reacts to missing plane

Grants Pass, Ore.– News of the three missing passengers has the local aviation community devastated.

“I am feeling sad for the families,” says Larry Graves, Manager of the Josephine County airports.  “I am feeling sad and discouraged that we have had an incident like this apparently, and I hold out hope that all of the pilot community can learn something valuable from this.”

A couple private pilots even flew out of the airport Tuesday to help search for the missing men.

Graves says he has been in contact with law enforcement as they continue their investigation into what happened to the missing plane.
